The mission of White County’s Evergreen Acres, Inc. is to provide high quality affordable housing and services enabling low-income elderly and/or disabled to be independent, take care of themselves with dignity, and enjoy a high quality of life.
White County’s Evergreen Acres, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation which provides HUD-subsidized housing for low-income elderly or people with disabilities. Our residents are given the opportunity to be independent, to take care of themselves with dignity and to enjoy a high quality of life at a very reasonable cost, in a smoke-free environment.
White County’s Evergreen Acres offers independent living lifestyle without the burdens of homeownership. Yard upkeep and apartment maintenance are provided. We take pride in giving attention to maintenance problems you may have and keeping the facility clean.
Not only is HUD-subsidized Evergreen Acres convenient and a first-class facility, it is very affordable. One need not be a resident of White County to submit an application to live at Evergreen Acres.
To be eligible, a person (or the head of a two-member household) must be at least 62 years old or disabled.
Applicants must also fall below the federal income eligibility limits. Monthly rent includes utilities as well as TV and Wi-Fi Internet services.
